Bandi Sanjay Kumar (born July 11, 1971) is a senior leader of the BJP and the current Minister of State for Home Affairs. Starting his career in the RSS and ABVP, he worked his way up from a municipal corporator in Karimnagar (2005-2019) to becoming a Member of Parliament. He gained immense prominence as the President of the Telangana BJP (2020-2023), where his aggressive 'Praja Sangrama Padayatra' heavily energized the party's cadre and built a strong opposition narrative against the ruling BRS government. He is known for his fiery speeches, grassroots connect, and unapologetic Hindutva politics.
