Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy is an Indian politician from the Indian National Congress (INC). He began his political career as a student leader in the NSUI while pursuing his MBBS at Gandhi Medical College, a course he eventually left to focus entirely on politics. He rose through the ranks to become the State President of the Andhra Pradesh Youth Congress in 2012, notably through an internal democratic election championed by Rahul Gandhi. He was elected as the MLA for Kalwakurthy in 2014, winning by a remarkably narrow margin of just 78 votes. He served in the assembly until 2018. Despite losing his re-election bids, he remains a key figure in the Telangana Congress, serving as AICC Secretary and a special invitee to the CWC. He contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Mahbubnagar but finished as the runner-up to the BJP's D.K. Aruna.
