Eatala Rajender is an Indian politician and current Member of Parliament representing the Malkajgiri constituency. He has previously served as the first Finance Minister of Telangana from 2014 to 2018 and as the Health Minister of Telangana from 2019 to 2021 under the TRS government. A prominent backward class leader, he was a key figure in the Telangana statehood movement. Following differences with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and allegations of land grabbing, he was removed from the state cabinet in 2021. He subsequently resigned from the TRS and joined the BJP, successfully winning the Huzurabad by-election in 2021.
