Godam Nagesh (born October 21, 1964) is a prominent tribal leader hailing from the Gond community in Adilabad, Telangana. He holds an M.A. and M.Ed. from Osmania University. Nagesh's political journey began with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), where he was elected as one of the youngest legislators to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly from Boath in 1994, subsequently serving as a Minister for Tribal Welfare. He won from Boath multiple times. In 2014, he joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (now BRS) and won the Adilabad Lok Sabha seat. Ahead of the 2024 elections, he switched to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and successfully won the Adilabad constituency, becoming a key tribal face for the BJP in the region.
