Porika Balram Naik, born June 6, 1964, is a veteran politician representing Mahabubabad. Before entering politics, he worked as a police constable, a telecom employee, and later transitioned into real estate. He first won the Lok Sabha seat in 2009 and served as the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment (2012–2014). After losing in 2018 (Assembly) and 2019 (Lok Sabha), he successfully regained the Mahabubabad seat in the 2024 elections. He is a member of the Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers.
