S. Sasikanth Senthil is a former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2009 Karnataka cadre. Known for his tenure as Deputy Commissioner in Dakshina Kannada, he resigned in 2019 protesting the central government's abrogation of Article 370. He soon joined the Indian National Congress, where he played a pivotal strategic role, eventually heading the party's election war room.
